Dell has announced the release of their new X51 and X51V line of handhelds. For the most part, these devices are simply the old X50 version, with an upgrade to the Windows Mobile 5 operating system.
The new operating system features updated versions of excel and word, as well as the addition of a Pocket PC version of Powerpoint. One of the other key features is the addition of persistent storage, which will allow a user's data to be saved, even if the handhelds battery is depleted.
