According to a report from theunwired.net, Fujitsu Siemens Computers has confirmed that they will not be offering Windows Mobile 2005 upgrades as had been previously announced.
"Today the German PR Manager of Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Lothar Lechtenberg, confirmed that FSC has canceled the previously announced plans to offer a Windows Mobile 5.0 upgrade for the Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox 718 and 720 Pocket PC devices.
According to him, the reason for the cancellation are technical difficulties."
This will be quite a dissappointment to some people, especially those who purchased the devices after the announcement was made that an upgrade would be provided. Click the link below to read the article from unwired.net.
