According to Acer company chairman JT Wang, the Pocket PC Phone market will be one of the key focus areas of his company going forward. In the article posted at Digitimes, Wang also said that he expects that the PDA phone market will generate US$1 billion of sales by 2008.
Acer's current device is the N300 Pocket PC, which includes a VGA screen, Wireless LAN 802.11b and Bluetooth. Wang says that the company will begin to ship the Pocket PC Phone devices in the fourth quarter of this year.
