This is the second article I have read questioning Motorola's decision to run the Smartphone edition of Windows Mobile on the Motorola Q, instead of the full fledged Pocket PC edition.
While all reviews I have read on the hardware have been extremely positive, I think that the lack of a touch screen, combined with limiting the overall functionality of the operating system is a decision that Motorola may live to regret.
It seems to me that if the Smartphone edition of Windows Mobile had meant to be used with a "qwerty" style keyboard, then it would not have been named "Windows Mobile for Smartphones."
