According to a report in Digitimes, there was a significant decrease in the shipments of Handheld devices in the 3rd quarter of 2006.
"There were 118,506 hand-held devices shipped in the Taiwan market in the third quarter of 2006, decreasing by 21% from the preceding quarter, according to International Data Corporation (IDC) Taiwan."
The most popular operating system for PDA phones and smartphones was Symbian, followed by Microsoft Windows Mobile. (Source- Digitimes)
