If you are not yet running Windows Vista (in which case you would be using the new Windows Mobile Device Center), then you may be interested in the latest version of Activesync which has just been released.
The latest release has Activesync now at version 4.5, but there does not appear to be anything too terribly earth shattering in the change log. If anything, it is just good news to see that Microsoft will continue to improve and support Activesync for those who have not upgraded to Vista.
