What has been long rumored, is now apparently officially true. There is no future for Dell's Axim line of Windows Mobile devices.
"A Dell spokeswoman said: "The Axim X51 family is no longer being offered, and we have no plans for a follow-on product at this time." She noted the company does sell handhelds from other makers on its website, including GPS devices and smart phones."
This is bad news for a lot of people, as unlike some of the other Dell products that have been scrapped (notably, the mp3 player called the DJ Diddy), the Axim was actually a pretty good device. You can read the full story from Silicon.com by clicking the link below.
