Acer has announced it will acquire the smartphone manufacturer E-Ten, perhaps best known for the "Glofish" Windows Mobile Device.
"Acer today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Taiwan smartphone maker E-Ten Information Systems. Under the terms of the agreement, Acer will offer a share exchange, with the total equity value consideration being approximately NT$9 billion (US$290 million). The new issued shares will represent approximately 6% of total."
